cup whole wheat flour

cup white flour

Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda

tsp cinnamon
pinch
each of salt, nutmeg, allspice, and ginger
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1
egg
1/2 cup low-fat yogurt
1
cup unsweetened apple sauce
Topping:

Tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2
Tbsp finely chopped pecans
In a medium bowl, combine flours, baking powder,
baking soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, allspice and ginger. In a large bowl, combine oil, sugar, egg,
yogurt, and applesauce. Add dry
ingredients to wet ingredients and combine until just blended. Spoon batter into 12 non-stick, oiled, or
paper lined muffin cups. Combine ingredients
for topping and sprinkle over muffins.
Bake.
